The Centre has two fully functional training labs with modern facilities viz. Desktop Computers, Laptops, Printer, Software, Interactive White Board, TV, Projection System, Data Centre facilities.
CEIT offered training on Advanced IT programs on IT Project Management, iPhone Programming, Android Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Python.
Twelve ICT workshops were conducted on e-Learning, e-Government, e-Commerce, Bio-Medical, Cloud Computing & Ubiquitous Computing.
Total 1614 candidates certified across eight+ different programs, with over 1001 candidates certified through the twelve ICT workshops.

Ensuring the availability of experts for delivery of training programs in India & at the CARICOM Secretariat, Guyana.

The ICT Resource Centre was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Education Minister of Tanzania on Jul 18, 2016.
NM-AIST received TCU approval and launched an M.Tech in Information Systems & Network Security (12 students) and an M.Tech in Wireless and Mobile Computing (8 students) at the Centre in Jan 2020, both of which were completed successfully.
A Cloud Computing workshop was also conducted, with more than 130 students participating.

MEA working with CDAC established the India – Tajikistan project for Setting up Computer Labs at 37 Schools in Tajikistan, in coordination with the Ministry of Education & Science, Tajikistan, in the year Oct 5, 2015.
Project consists of :
Creation of IT infrastructure (IT hardware/ software, computer peripherals, networking equipment, classroom equipment and UPS etc.) in 37 schools across Tajikistan.
Project management & consultancy.
Providing on-site warranty support for one year.
The installation & commissioning of IT hardware & software was completed on July 27th 2016.
CDAC, along with other members of the Project Monitoring Committee nominated by MEA, undertook a visit from Aug 1st–5th 2016 to Tajikistan and carried out verification, which was found satisfactory.
The project was supported by on-site warranty till July 26th 2017.

The Hon’ble President of India, Dr. Pranab Mukherjee, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Rami Hamadallah, PM of the State of Palestine, inaugurated the IPCEICT on Oct 13th 2015; the Hon’ble EAM of India, Smt. Sushma Swaraj, inaugurated the DLIC on Jan 17th 2016.

MEA worked with CDAC as the Implementing Agency, along with the Ministry of Education, Bhutan, as the Bhutan Implementing Agency, on the e-Library project.

Project consists of :
A network to offer e-services with priority on Tele-Education and Tele-Medicine services between India and 5 Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Strengthening the ICT resource centres already set up by CDAC in these countries under GOI funding, for a period of 5 years post-implementation.
Connecting the ICT resource centre in each country to a leading hospital and five remote hospitals.
Providing Tele-Medicine services via on-line medical consultations from India in various disciplines & specialties.
Tele-Education services are proposed to be provided by leading Indian universities and educational institutes in IT & non-IT programmes (postgraduate, undergraduate, certificate and diploma).
The Detailed Project Report for the Telemedicine component, submitted by CDAC, was approved by MEA in November 2016; deliberations with Indian Missions, universities, hospitals and ministries on the Central Asian side are ongoing.
As the project had not progressed for over three and a half years, CDAC proposed to terminate the Agreement with MEA; discussions to revive the Telemedicine leg of the project resumed with JS–ERS in Oct 2020.
