ITEC Expert

Under the ITEC-Expert modality, capacity building assistance is provided by deploying Indian subject matter experts on deputation to the partner countries. These ITEC experts are embedded in the recipient organization of host government for periods ranging from 6 months to more than a year. Experts may be sent individually, or as part of training teams, based on the nature of the assignment.

In all, MEA has sent more than 150 experts to 18 countries since 2014 in the field(s) of defence, education, archaeology, forensic sciences, agriculture, medicine, legislation drafting, ayurveda, disaster response and Oil Spill Preparedness.
